Philomena joined Advent in 2021 with a background in medicine, investment banking, and operational strategy.
Philomena received her BA in Medical Sciences from Oxford University, completing her undergraduate thesis in the lab of Nobel Prize winner, Sir Peter Ratcliffe, and publishing three papers as an undergraduate.
Since leaving Oxford, she has worked for Rothschild & Co in mergers and acquisitions on deals of up to £5bn, and for a tech start-up to lead their operational strategy. In 2019, she was selected by McKinsey as a ‘Next Generation Women Leader’.
