Gwen O’Driscoll

Gwen joined Advent Life Sciences in 2025 with a background in biomedical research and pharmaceutical R&D.

Prior to joining Advent, Gwen was an Investment Fellow at Syncona, where she supported the diligence of early-stage investment opportunities and company creation.

Gwen began her career at AstraZeneca, where she developed cellular assays for screening nanomedicines. She then completed a PhD at the Institute of Cancer Research and Imperial College London, engineering a nanoparticle-based MRI research tool to study breast cancer metastasis in vivo.
